Welcome to Lauderdale Primary School
Lauderdale Primary School was established in 1965 and is located on the outskirts of the town of Lauderdale, approximately 20km from the city of Hobart. The student population is drawn from Lauderdale and the surrounding areas including Sandford, Cremorne, Acton, Seven Mile Beach and Oakdowns. The 2023 class structure consists of 31 classes including 4 Kindergarten classes. 60 children are enrolled in our Launching into Learning Program which caters for Pre-Toddler, Toddler and Pre-Kinder aged children.
Our school features specialised enrichment programs which include STEAM, Music, Dance & Drama, Health and Well Being / Physical Education. Our school grounds are extensive for encouraging physical activity, in addition to this we have a full size sports centre. The sports centre can also be hired to the general public for after school hours sports and activities.
